A concert of friends, some familiar, some new to Third Angle, all giving musical voice to our time, our place. This is what Cascadia sounds like...

Featuring:

  • Tomas Svoboda’s virtuosic “Migrating Message” with percussion soloist Mark Goodenberger
  • David Schiff's energetic and challenging "Scenes from Adolescence"
  • "Seven Sisters of Sleep" by La Grande-based John McKinnon, 2005 Oregon Music Teacher of the Year
  • Premiere of "Multiplication of Machines" by electronic music innovator Charles Nichols from Montana

This is a chance to hear "Migrating Message" and "Scenes from Adolescence" before Third Angle showcases them at the Beijing Modern Music Festival in China in late May.
