About the Decibel Series

Calling all Audiophiles and Cocktail Connoisseurs

Third Angle is bringing the beats to Milwaukie this winter with Portland percussion phenoms Andy Akiho, Christopher Whyte, and Machado Mijiga. Swing south to Decibel Sound & Drink for some cozy happy-hour listening sessions with one of the sweetest sound systems in town.

Doors open at 4, shows at 4:30. Each program runs relatively free-form with about an hour of stories, recordings, and live music to share. Grab a snack with your cocktail of choice and vibe to the beat of the drums.

Clapping and cheering are absolutely encouraged, although we ask that you keep discussions to a minimum during each piece. And make sure to stick around afterward to chat with the musicians—they’d love to say hi!

A huge thank you to Decibel Sound & Drink for opening up their incredible space for this series on days they are typically not open.
