WELCOME TO THIRD ANGLE’S 40th ANNIVERSARY SEASON

Lordy Lordy, look who’s 40! Third Angle’s 25/26 Season celebrates 40 years of sonic adventures grounded in time and place.

The Concert Series features four performances spotlighting the foundations we hold most dear—our beloved Pacific Northwest, boundary-breaking experiences that unite architecture and sound, interdisciplinary creation, inspiring new works by living composers, and, of course, the stellar musicians who bring it all to life.

We kick things off in October with a musical forest bath featuring past 3A commissions by Caroline Shaw and Dai Fujikura. Next up is a Counterpoint party in honor of legendary composer Steve Reich’s 90th birthday. In March 2026 Guest Creative Director Maria Finkelmeier’s new multi-sensory chamber “opera” pulls us into a world of conspiracy theories and collective fragility. Finally, our grand finale looks to the past, present, and future for 3A and our planet. In collaboration with Oregon Repertory Singers Youth Choir, we’ve commissioned three exciting composers to create a wildfire oratorio using poetry written by the youth choir members– those who will be most affected by threats to our forests and air.

Subscribe today and remember, at a Third Angle show, you never know quite what will happen next.
