He recently released two albums on the 7D Media label: String Schemas, with Elliott Sharp and Harvey Valdes, and Códices, co-produced by Trey Gunn. His upcoming project, Lugares (spring 2026), features commissioned works for electric guitar by Kirsten Volness, Ryan Francis, Ravi Kittappa, and Maria Valencia. With guitarist and composer Cesar Quevedo Barrero, he forms Selva Espiral, a duo exploring “paleo-futurismo,” a musical language combining ancestral traditions from Colombia with experimental guitar techniques.
Currently based in Portland, Oregon, he has performed with the ensemble Ex.tra.di.tion and will appear with Third Angle New Music in 2025–26, performing Electric Counterpoint for Steve Reich’s 90th anniversary. He has received grants from the Regional Arts & Culture Council and the Foundation for Contemporary Arts.
